This is my budget makeover. The cabinets were basic oak laminate, really plain and ugly. I hate the pink in the sink, but it's not going anywhere soon. I used the colors from one paint strip from Sherwin Williams and replaced the hardware with brushed nickel. The middle green was used on the walls, the darker on the sink cabinet and the lightest on the tall cabinet.
We installed wainscoating, trim, and hooks for towels, and new linoleum floor. My inspiration for the mirrored frames came from a magazine photo where they used hand mirrors in an arrangement. I loved that idea, and looked for silver hand mirrors for a long time, but was never able to find enough to make a collage. I bought silver frames and replaced the glass with mirrors.
